Image Info This is a view of Main Street in Rockland, looking south. In the foreground on the left, the Wilson & White Block contains the Rockland Opinion newspaper printing office, and beyond it is the Thorndike Hotel and across Sea Street (Tillson Avenue) is the two-story Ulmer Block. On the right, the building in the foreground is the Pillsbury Block, recognizable by its Mansard roof. Beyond the Pillsbury Block is the small, frame Farnsworth Building, and beyond that is the three-story Hewett Block. Then across Spring Street is the three-story Union Block.
