Image Info This view shows the Five Kilns at the foot of Scott Street, on the harbor on the north side of the South End of Rockland. Five Kilns was the largest kiln belonging to the Cobb Lime Company. The image shows the stone kilns and the large sheds where the processed lime was stored to keep it dry before it was shipped. In the foreground is wood waiting to be burned & barrels waiting to be filled with lime.
