Image Info Campers at Lanier Camp in Eliot act out a Bible story. Sunday's "primitive dramas" in the woods were part of a program to teach young campers the "democratic feeling of ideal human relationships" and provide "fundamental practice on daily living." The camp operated from 1908 to 1940.
