Image Info This Queen Anne style home with its octagonal tower and handsome ornamentation stood on Main Street at the corner of Lord Street, Sanford. It was apparently built along with the Queen ANne style homes on Lord Street in the early 1900s. It was the home and office of Dr. Millard Nickerson in the 1940s. Sometime therefafter it became Kershaw's Rest Home. It was torn down ca. 1970 to make way for the building that in 2003 housed Sanford Health Care Nursing Home. Print from an 8" x 10" glass negative.
