Image Info "Judge Bell came here from Monson. I once lived in a house in that town formerly occupied by him. This was evidenced by the names of his daughters (Charlotte and Florence, I believe) scratched in the glass of some of the windows. Judge Bell was an attorney of considerable prominence and a devout parishioner of the Island Avenue Church. This photograph hangs on the wall of the Federated Church parlors. The ladies in the picture are probably the two daughters above mentioned. This house is now the home of Dr. L. A. Dascombe, but the memory of the family above described is preserved by the name, "J. B. Bell," in the glass of the front door."
