Image Info

"This shows Mr. Perkins seated in the doorway of the old Kidder Mill on Dodge Street. He was employed there for a long time by Charles Burrill, who conducted a grist mill. This building was later occupied by the Marston Worsted Mills and still later as a part of Daniel E. Cummings premises, this firm being still in business there. Mr. Perkins subsequently was janitor for Somerset County Court House. His daughters, Mrs. E. F. Fairbrother and Mrs. George Nash, are still residents of Skowhegan.
