Image Info "A 1907 air-cooled Knox runabout sits in the Portland Company upper yard. The gated entrance seen above is on Fore Street and is still the main entrance to the Portland Company complex and Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad & Museum at present. After 1907, Knox started building its vehicles with water-cooled engines as the horsepower was increased and more heat was generated. The pattern storage building is behind the automobile along with a locomotive tender."--Fletcher, David H. 'The Portland Company 1846-1982.' Charleston, S.C. : Arcadia Pub., 2002. 82.
