Image Info Blacksmith John Weymouth built the Weymouth House, the hotel seen here, in the center of Boothbay Harbor in 1848. The Weymouth was torn down in 1925-1926 and replaced with the Hotel Gara, later named the Hotel Fullerton, and then the Village Inn, which was torn down in 1969. The U.S. Post Office stands on the site today (2013).
