Image Info The East Rumford School was built in 1868. This is one of the first school built in Rumford, and was use from 1868 to 1903. Samuel Read Hall was a teacher, created the first blackboard here. It is now in the Maine State Museum in Augusta and The Lufkins School Museum in Rumford Center.
