Image Info The first settler of the "New Pennacook" was Jonathan Keyes. He built a log cabin in the Rumford Corner area between 1776-1778. His teenage boys, Ebenezer and Francis, spent the first winter in that cabin alone, while their father returned to Massachusetts. They later built a farm house in 1785.
