The Centre d'Héritage Franco-Américain moved into the former Sacred Heart School in Auburn, when the building was occupied by the University of Maine at Augusta's Auburn-Lewiston Center. The Centre d'Héritage remained in that location until the creation of the University of Southern Maine's Lewiston-Auburn College, at which time the Centre's assets were transferred to the University.
