This group of mountain climbers ascended Katahdin in the fall of 1923. They are 1. John H. Bomen, 2. Roland H. Morey, 3. Rev. Gray, 4. Benjamin Lake Noyes, 5. Gunch, and 6. Reginald Webb Noyes.

The photograph was taken by George Howard Noyes at the summit.
