Show Details
After the giant ox Mt. Katahdin died, he was stuffed and mounted and was often displayed in parades.
The parade float was sponsored by Bates & Titcomb, a Corinna meat market owned by JM Bates of Corinna and Lyndon Titcomb of North Newport. Lyndon Titcomb is the person shown driving the four-horse hitch in this image.
