In the front row, from left, are Reino Johnson, Helen Heikkinen (later Jakkola), and Selma Hill (later Hiltz).
The dark-haired boy behind Johnson may be Harry Whittum. Taller girl in front row is Helen Heikkinen (later Jakkola). Girl near back, right side (head is framed by two other heads) is possibly a Whittum. The other students are unidentified.
The teacher at the Rayville School in 1925 was Doris Ramsdell, according to town report.
The Otisfield town report notes a visit from the county nurse in May 1925. It mentions that of the 87 Otisfield children examined, 29 were underweight, 40 had defective teeth, but 23 had "no defects."
