Image Info The Bubble Pond stone bridge is one of many bridges in Acadia National Park. The bridge's stone facing is made of granite that was quarried locally from Mount Desert Island. John D. Rockefeller Jr. financed Acadia's carriage roads and bridges from 1913-1940.
