Image Info The original Sundial Monument in Skowhegan's Coburn Park was donated by the DAR, along with its surrounding formal flower garden, and was dedicated by Louise Coburn in 1920 to honor Skowhegan soldiers serving in WWI. The monument was rededicated by the DAR in 2018.

Coburn Park was built on land donated to the town by Maine Civil War era governor Abner Coburn for the purposes of a public park.
