Image Info Tanglewood, built in 1880, was the summer home of Governor Carl Milliken in Ocean Park on Randall Avenue near the site of the Temple. The building, known at this time as Bethshalom, was bought by the New England Baptist Conference in 1926 to be used as a dining hall, dormitories, and the School of Methodist headquarters.
