This 1741 copy of a map of Black Point was made for the use of the Massachusetts Supreme Court in the case of Timothy Prout (d. 1768) and Zebulon Trickey.

Pictures of dwellings in this area of Scarborough with property owners' names are written on the map. It also illustrates salt marshes, the Libby River, Nonesuch River and Spurwink River.

Black Point is now known as Prouts Neck.
