Chebeague Island is located off the coast of Falmouth. At almost five miles long and 1½ miles wide, it is the largest island in Casco Bay.
Like a number of islands in Casco Bay near Portland, Chebeague is inhabited year-round and served by ferries. The wharf that serviced the ferries was built in 1942.
