Image Info The caption reads, "Lithgow Library, Augusta, Maine." The Library was built with a financial gift from Llewellyn Lithgow, an Augusta merchant, and Andrew Carnegie in 1896. The building stone used was gray Norridgewock granite, locally quarried.
