Image Info

The humorous "international" signpost in Lynchville at the intersection of Route 5 and Route 35. First built in the 1930s, the sign remains particularly amusing for tourists who can say they have visited Paris, Mexico and China by car.

The caption reads, "Maine sign post."

The Tichnor Brothers printing company published this type of postcard circa 1930-1945.
