Image Info Major General Arnold, wounded Dec. 31, 1775 at the attack of Quebec. Benedict Arnold was one of the American Generals fighting the British during the American Revolution, 1775-1783. He led an expedition to Quebec, where he was wounded. There are no contemporary portraits of Benedict Arnold, though artists' imaginative renderings are available, such as this one.
