Show Details
Lucile, operated by Lady Duff Gordon for many years, was a well-known fashion house that appealed to wealthy clients.
The line drawing belonged to Mildred Burrage of Kennebunkport (1890-1983), an artist who had lived and worked in Paris in the 1910s. She may have received the drawings from someone else who ordered attire from Paris dressmakers.
