Image Info Caroline Gilman Redington, born in Waterville, provided the funds to build Gilman/Redington in memory of her parents, Isaac and Elizabeth Gilman Redington. The architest of this cottage was W.E. Mansur of Bangor. This photograph shows I.O. Scott breaking the ground for the cottage.
