Image Info Luna Park was built on Coney Island, and designed by architect Frederic Thompson in 1903. It was the first of many Luna Parks to come. At night, it was lit by thousands of electrical lights. This photograph is from a glass slide by Charles Moody, a Saco native, who summered in Maine but lived in Newark, New Jersey.
