Image Info Architect John Calvin Stevens constructed the York Institute in 1926. The brick addition was added in 1969 for a colonial revival style. It is currently a 1 1/2 stories, brick structure. Its original and present use was to be a museum. Today it is known as the Saco Museum, adjacent to Dyer Library. This photograph was taken in August of 1978.
