Image Info Charles F. Kimball (1831-1903), a native of Monmouth, was a landscape painter and carpenter in Portland.

He studied art with Portland artist Charles O. Cole. Kimball was a member of the Brushians, a group of artists who went on sketching trips together, and a founder of the Portland Society of Art.
