Image Info The first YMCA building was designed by Wilfred E. Mansur and built in 1891. The lot sat on the corners of Hammond, Clark, and Court streets. The main building was 75 feet by 90 feet and occupied three floors. A connected rear gymnasium was 40 feet by 69 feet and 38 feet tall. At the corner of Hammond and Court Streets was placed a tower that was the tallest point in the building.
