Image Info This ruins of one of the Pepperell Mills cotton storehouses on October 30, 1915. The storehouse, located on Pearl Street, Biddeford, burned all through the night of October 29th. Two men work the wreckage, and charred bales of cotton can be seen next to them. Elm Street runs underneath the railroad trestle in the rear; this is a rare view of the buildings and neighborhoods around Elm and Hooper Streets looking towards the Diamond Match Company.
