Image Info A postcard view showing the rebuilt St. Mary's Church, Biddeford, along with the rectory, convent, and school, ca. 1926. St. Mary's Church was opened in 1858, and the brick church was built in 1926. The rectory was built in 1886. The Sisters of Mercy came to Biddeford in 1892 to run the newly built parochial school, and resided in the rectory until the Convent of Our Lady of Perpetual Help was built two years later in 1894.
