Image Info The unpaved roads in Blue Hill Village became even more dusty in summer after the automoblile entered the scene.
Show Details
For about twenty years, the water sprinkler wagon of the Village Improvement Society did its best to lay down the dust.
In wet seasons the streets were covered with one to two feet of gangue or waste copper mine tailings that were the color of dried blood.
By 1930, the roads began to be paved with a hard surface.
