Image Info This postcard shows Casco Castle, a large and imposing hotel with turrets and a crenelated roof line. Notice a stone tower is next to the hotel. Casco Castle was built in 1903 by the Brunswick-Yarmouth Street Railway as part of a recreational area that included an amusement park, a zoo, formal gardens, and a picnic area. The hotel burned down in 1914.
