Image Info This view of Water Street shows the Seaboard factory on the left and the auto ferry to Campobello in the center. The building on the right was the office for the Sam Staples store, dealer in coal, lumber, and “general stores” according to the Maine Register, 1912-13, which also housed U.S. Customs and, later, the Regional Medical Center until it burned.
