The Pilgrim unloading passengers at the Pool for a big clambake, St. John's Day, June 24, 1912. The Pilgrim was a Casco Bay excursion steamer chartered especially for the St. John's Day celebration.

This clambake and ride to the Pool in the steamer was part of the entertainment given by the Bradford Commandery Knights Templar of Biddeford, to the Commanderies of Bath, Maine, and Lowell, Massachusetts.
