Image Info The McLeod Scow was one of Islesboro's first forms of vehicle transportation on and off the island. Its maximum capacity was four cars, and was owned and operated by Malcolm McLeod. It ran between 1933 and 1936, when it was replaced by Islesboro's first ferry, the Governor Brann. Prior to 1933, automobiles were prohibited on the island.
