Image Info The Buckminister Cottage provided housing for boys from the Quincy Manual Training Institute at Good Will Home in Fairfield.
Show Details
The building was originally the Daniel Chase farm house, then remodeled into Prospect Cottage in 1892. In 1902 it was moved slightly west to allow building the Quincy Manual Training Institute.
Good Will Home, which served orphans and other needy boys and girls, offered a variety of manual education as well as academic training.
