Camp Mechano for boys ages 12 to 18 was located on Sebago Lake in South Casco.

It featured usual camp activities such as swimming, boating and various sports and also had a mechanical shop with automotive equipment, motors, generators, radio parts and tools. Boys could learn through experimentation and informal instruction.

The brochure states, "Each boy is encouraged and guided in developing whatever mechanical bent he may have and is urged to do some constructive thing of permanent value during the camp season."
