Image Info This picture depicts Cataract Falls and the old gristmill at right on the original Pepperell Mill site in the early 1900s.

The gristmill contained four runs of stones, two bolting machines, and a corn and plaster mill. It was the last of its kind to survive on the Saco River until it was torn down in 1917.
