Image Info This image shows the shoe factories on Bridge Street in Springvale as they appeared in the late 1890s. The building with the steep roof was built in 1870 and the larger factory with the square tower was constructed in 1888-89. Both were on the West bank of the Mousam River and were destroyed in the Springvale fire of April 14, 1905.
