The Charles Quincy Clapp house, 97 Spring St., Portland. C.Q. Clapp had the Greek Revival house built in about 1832.
He had been living next door, in the McLellan house, but sold that house to his father-in-law. When his financial situation changed in 1837, he moved back into the McLellan house.
