The farm was built about 1900. The first owner was Delbert Stairs. The farm was later sold to Stan Beckwith. The buildings were destroyed in 2000 and were replaced with doctors' offices.
The photograph was taken around 1950.
Many farms had aerial photographs taken so that a large portrait of the farm buildings could be displayed in a prominent place in the home. These farm buildings were located on Academy Street in Presque Isle about a mile from Main Street.
