Image Info The Madawaska Training School was established in 1878. Fort Kent became its permanent home during the 1888-1889 school year. The institution became the Fort Kent State Normal School in 1955, the Fort Kent State Teachers College in 1961, Fort Kent State College in 1966, and finally the University of Maine at Fort Kent in 1970.

The photograph was printed on cardstock with a postcard template on the verso. The subjects are: (1) Delphine Daigle; (2) Hedwidge Bourgoin; (3) Marie Bourgoin; (4) Marie Anderson; (5) Maggie Bell; (6) ... Curier; (7) Clara Cooper; (8) Evina Daigle; (9) June Nadeau; and (10) Georgie Sinclair.
The card is not dated. According to "A Century and a Quarter of Progress," Marie Bourgoin graduated in 1909, Hedwidge Bourgoin and Evina Daigle graduated the following year, and Delphine Daigle in 1911.
