Image Info Thomas Hill (1818-1891), was a founding member of the Fraternity Club, which began with Unitarian, Universalist, and Swedenborgian ministers meeting weekly to discuss various topics of interest. They called themselves men of "scientific and literary tastes."

Hill was formerly president of Antioch College in Ohio and Harvard College in Massachusetts. He was minister of the First Parish Unitarian Church in Portland from 1873-1891.
