This Portland Company Bulletin No. 26, stated, "All Trouble from STATIC ELECTRICITY ABSOLUTELY REMOVED BY THE CHAPMAN PROCESS IN Woolen, Cotton, Silk and Paper Mills, on Cards, Drawing Frames, Mules, Unwinders, Shears, Combs, Finishers, Warpers, Beamers, Web and Sheet Calenders, Cutters, Etc. The above apparatus will neutralize the electricity generated by cotton, wollen, silk and paper mill machinery. In less than three months from the introduction of the ELECTRIC NEUTRALIZER, 600 were sold on trial and ACCEPTED by the purchasers."
