Image Info Manuscript map #39 showing the Thomas Wilson lot in Topsham, commissioned by the Pejepscot Purchase Company in March of 1764. Wilson and his family were involved in several legal disputes with the Pejepscot Proprietors, mostly for the unauthorized cutting of timber and hay, as well as refusing to pay for land. Wilson also led a group of settlers against the proprietors for what he deemed inflated land prices for lots. This lot was likely purchased by Wilson and granted by the proprietors as part of a settlement.
