Image Info In July 1928, Laure Dupré of Christiane sent Elizabeth Dodge Huntington "the very first new styles for the fall and winter season," possibly including this line sheet. The Paruli Fleuri or floral appearance chiffon gown with raised flower embroidery elements was described as "exquisite."

The thin, youthful dress with a drop waistline at the hip was a sharp departure from styles of the 1910s. By the late 1920s, dress hemlines were shorter, waists lower, and no longer worn with a ridged corset.
