Show Details
Clearing snow and ice from a runway is a challenging job anywhere but especially in northern Maine. Military buildings are visible in the distance.
Houlton Air Base was operational from October 1942 to May 1946 and held German prisoners of war (POWs) from July 1944 to May 1946.
