Image Info This dark brown delaine (any high-grade woolen or worsted fabric) dress is an example of everyday prints, or 'ordinary' dresses from the mid-nineteenth century. Unlike higher end or special occasion garments, which are worn less often or cared for over time, It is less common for historic everyday wear to survive.
