Image Info Ida Hussey wore this dress when she married Joseph Davidson on May 18,1898 at Guilford. A two-piece white silk dress, it includes a bodice with a draped layer of silk chiffon at the high neck. The skirt features three tiers of attached ruffles. A label that came with the dress stated, "handmade wedding gown". However, close inspection indicates there is also a degree of machine stitching.
