Image Info Press Herald photographers captured two small boats sailing in Casco Bay. Many families owned sailboats and enjoyed taking them onto the water when the wind was right. Children learned to race sailboats from a young age, as soon as they mastered steering and tacking. Many people joined river clubs and kept their sailboats there during the summer.
